Once harvested, fresh produce is transported to one of our four cooling facilities in Salinas, Oxnard or Mount Whitney (Cantua Creek), California, or Yuma, Arizona. Each of these facilities implements “Good Manufacturing Practices” programs that include microbiological testing, pest control, employee training, daily sanitation and monitoring of water and ice.
At the facilities, produce is inspected by Nunes family members and cooler supervisors, while transport trucks are fully inspected and approved. When both inspections are complete,
