Short “Cut-to-Cool” Time

Through decades of experience, we have established rigorous harvesting protocols for each field that take into account crop maturity, quality and food safety. Since various crops require different types of handling, we have refined methods for cutting and packing each product in the field in order to seal in its freshness.

While a field harvest is ongoing, the packaged products are transported quickly to cooling facilities for refrigeration. A short “cut-to-cool” time helps maintain freshness and extend the life of a product.
